Profile

Plinio Oliveira has 47 years of experience in the aviation industry working in maintenance shop, line, hangar, quality with proven leadership in several strategic areas in Brazil and abroad.

He received his MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral and specialization courses at JUSE – JAPAN UNION SCIENTISTS ENGINNERS -, IATA – IOSA AUDIT, GENERAL ELECTRIC BLACK BELT – OHIO, ESG – ESCOLA SUPERIOR DE GUERRA – SECURITY SYSTEMS.

Prior to joining Azul, Plínio worked many years in aviation at VARIG Airlines, VEM MAINTENANCE AND ENGINEERING, TAPME, AGS- ARUBA HANDLING and TRIP.

Plínio joined Azul in 2012 during merger AZUL- TRIP in the Quality Manager and IOSA project Manager and was currently the role of Continuous Improvement/PMO General Manager.
